I completed the examinations for Technical and General licenses. I'm still in the process of setting up all the equipment and the antenna, but hope to be online in the next month.
My callsign is KO4LBC.
The callsigns are randomly generated. I am pleased with mine. It's pretty simple to say in the phonetic alphabet (Kilo Oscar 4 Lima Bravo Charlie) and "Oscar" is a nice tie to one of my favorite books "Have Spacesuit Will Travel", which was part of the inspiration for my first book, FLIGHTSUIT. I named the dog in THE LOST COVE SERIES "Oscar".
